Who Are We?
Bright Minds Tutors educates a wide array of areas, but primarily does so in English, mathematics, science, social science and religion at a primary or secondary school level. We also have the capacity to exceed this and tutors in things such as HSC and first and second year university. In addition to these areas, the business also provides services such as resume writing, interview skills, music therapy and more. This is by no means a comprehensive list of the services we provide but it does outline the main areas of practice.
The business is in its fourth year of operation and was founded by Jane Barry in January 2012. The founder was a university student who wanted to put her education to work and also do what she loves. Now, in 2016, there has been more than 5 tutors working for the company, specialising in subjects such as; English, Mathematics, Business, History, Literature and other Fundamental Concepts.
What Makes us Different?
A core concept of the business is that community and compassion are key. We agree with the United Nations in that Education is a right for all and should be provided at low, or no cost . We also understand that it is difficult for Brisbane families to find the time and money to give their children the help they want and need. We address this issue by providing you with affordable tutoring by professionally trained tutors who are young and energetic and excited about your child’s learning. We offer discounted payment options and referral rates of up to 15%, and include all extra work such as proofreading, problems and question marking in the low hourly rate.
